Castle Rock Mental Health Services

Several options are available to students or parents who are seeking help with a student’s personal issues that may be impacting his/her experience in school. Students and parents can start by contacting the Castle Rock School Counselor. If difficult family circumstances arise during the school year, such as an illness or loss in the family, counselors can help communicate important information to teachers. School Counselors provide personal assistance to students in crisis and help families decide when and how to seek further ongoing support. Counselors may make referrals to outside agencies or to private practitioners within Del Norte County.  Individual counseling for personal, social/emotional and academic purposes are all offered at Castle Rock Charter School. Parents, teachers and students concerned about any student can contact our School Counselor, Mark Nelson confidentially. He can be reached by phone at (707) 464-0390 or at mnelson@delnorte.k12.ca.us .
