Message from Principal Jennifer Larson

As the days get longer and the weather warms up, we welcome the fresh start that March brings. The shift to Daylight Saving time is a great reminder of the brighter days ahead, just as we see growth and progress in our students each day

This season is a great time to reinforce the importance of regular school attendance. Positive attendance helps students stay engaged, keep up with their learning, and connect with their peers.

Spring also brings a renewed sense of energy, making it a perfect time to support students in building strong homework habits. A consistent routine, even just a little time each day, can make a big difference in reinforcing learning.

Thank you for your continued support in your child's education. Together, we can make this season one of growth and success!

Multi-tiered Systems of Supports

To date, more than fifty students have been referred for extra help through the MTSS process. Those who attend the three weeks of support often show great improvement. "Thank you so much for helping me with my writing," one student stated after completing his informative essay in the class. Similar success has been noted in the AChieve and Math classes as well. Don't be alarmed if you and your student receive a letter recommending one of the extra support courses. This is a good thing! We all need help sometimes, and the MTSS process is part of the Castle Rock commitment to you.
